About Clayosmos

Clayosmos is one man doing pottery. My interests include classic form, simple but subtle forms which are often very difficult, platters with an increasing interest in carving the rims and raku. My tiles provide a good experimental medium for shapes, textures, slips and glazes in decoration as well as providing functional coasters, trivets and so on.

I do not seek to produce large volumes of production ware but rather to produce pieces with artistic content and individuality. Occassionally I will do small sets using the same approach, for example sushi dishes, or the odd set of mugs.
